#MATRЁSHKA MARKET

Hey guys :) The first market that I attended this year was MATRЁSHKA MARKET. Sounds patriotic, ha :)

I may say such events should be held more often cause it is really great opportunity to meet new people, to become inspired and just to cheer up!

The market took place in the creative space called Pro 42 (address: Naberezhnaya kanala Griboedova, 133A). Each visitor could eat free snacks, drink flavoured coffee, kvass, medovukha. Moreover there was special beauty area where professional stylists, make-up artists and real wizards were working. In addition all guests were able to enjoy installations, fashion show, listen to  A CAPPELLA BAND PLUSFIVE.

The program was insane, in a good sense definitely:) I had just  positive emotions :)

#LESS WORDS: IT IS THE CITY OF....ROOFS

Hello folk! Today we have completely easy peasy post, so it is time for our forgotten column called "LESS WORDS" :)

The weather in Saint-Petersburg is awesome! Wanna wander through the streets, take photos, enjoy spring sun. You guys probably noticed that I am a real amateur of roofing and Saint-Petersburg is one of the best places for this activity:)

Once again I chose roof of the famous loft-project ETAGI as my viewing platform (if you wanna read more about current roof please click on the arrow ). To my mind, it is cooler to hang out there when it is shining. People are going to sunbathe, to admire the magnificent panorama of the city or to read. I decided that next time I will take a book with me :) Wanna mix pleasure with ... pleasure :)))

#HEART OF SAINT-PETERSBURG

Hello folks :) Everyone usually calls The State Hermitage Museum as a heart of Saint-Petersburg. I am totally agree with current thought. However, Hermitage is not just pride of Saint-Petersburg it is pearl of the whole Russia. There are stunning canvases of European artists such as Rembrandt, Rubens, El Greco, Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, Kandinsky, Malevich etc… Furthermore, museum is rich in its jewelry and archaeological collections. It is quite funny but its impossible to explore the State Hermitage Museum in one day. If you do not have time limit I advise you guys to divide your visit for a few days.Today I am gonna share with you photoset from my last cultural museum attendance and show you photos that I managed to take on my way to the Hermitage.

#BIG CITY LIFE

Hey-hey ! Perhaps you have already noticed that I am that kind of person who loves to plan walking. Before going out of my apartment I carefully check various websites that advertise city's events such as new art exhibitions or simply opening of new cafes. However this time the best epithet we can assign to the word "walk" is "random". I just decided to wander through the streets without specific purpose.

Saint-Petersburg is an extraordinary city and I am very pleased to realize that I was born here (I am sure that everyone has such warm feelings toward hometown ). As I always  say even if you do not have specialized plan concerning your walking outside you will still find something that attracts your attention. On the streets of Saint-Petersburg there is always special creative atmosphere that is why the great artists from different countries  came, come and will come here. It is merely impossible not to feel elation and not to find flash of inspiration.

#GRAFFITI IN THE YARD

Let me introduce you to the new art place which was actually coach-station in the 19th century. Today "Третий кластер" is creative space which is famous for its painted yard. "Третий кластер" takes up 3 floors with interesting stores and attic room. If you are in Saint-Petersburg, come here and I guess u will love it!

#COLD FROST AND SUNSHINE: DAY OF WONDER

Good evening, guys! When real winter comes in Saint-Petersburg it means that people should take advantage of it. Moreover, if it is shining it is definitely not the right time to stay at home. So that is why my parents and I decided to go out of the city feeling in advance that we would meet something magical. Finnish gulf has pleased us this year "giving" A-M-A-Z-I-N-G scenery with ice blocks.

#DAY OF APPLES

Hello everyone :) Another autumn festival-market took place which was called  "apples` day". Various art spaces were in to provision areas for the organization of current event. I decided to visit the time-cafe(anti-cafe) and creative space "Miracle" (Moshkov lane, 4). For the guys who do not know, time club is a place where you don`t pay for eating food or drinking something you should just pay for the time spending at the cafe. Despite the cloudy weather, I can say with confidence that I had perfect day off, cause when you`re doing things that bring you pleasure and satisfaction, bad weather or some small problems won`t be so important. I suppose that all of us need to spend more time on our own interests/hobbies, we should live in harmony with ourselves and the whole world, try to smile and to laugh more often:)

#FASHION OVERVIEW: "REDISKA" STORE

Hello, world! Today we have new renovation among my subdivisions! I am so happy to introduce you guys my new column which is called "fashion overview". I am going to refresh it as fairly often as possible cause I suppose that information that I'll publish here can be quite useful for my sweet readers :) The concept of the column has specific direction concerning fashion definitely. So in my new1 subdivision I will tell you about up-to-date and trendy clothes' and accessories' stores of Saint-Petersburg and other cities. Catwalks, must-have, transcription of modern concepts, interviews with stores' owners, creation of personal unique style will be publicized on "fashion overview".

So guys today we will talk about store called "REDISKA" .

#HANDMADE MARKET

Hello , guys :) Few days ago my friend and I have attended handmade market. I am in love with these events as right there you could buy interesting , unusual stuff,original presents for birthday and other holidays!

In Saint-Petersburg handmade markets are passed quite often so you should only know the time and the place.

This time the fair was on second floor of Gallery of Guest Court.

#SUMMERTIME IN RUSSIA

Hello everybody! Yesterday there was changeable weather in the literal sense. Rain and sun competed with each other and were accompanied by almost hurricane wind. It was not summer weather at all, however it is typical weather of Saint-Petersburg.

My friend and I decided to come to Park of the Tercentenary of Saint-Petersburg and make photographs. We think that I was able to make amazing shots of Finskiy Gulf, hope you guys will like it also.

#WHEN SUN IS SHINING

Hello, guys! In Saint-Petersburg is wonderful weather and it is obvious reason to wander in centre of city and to make photographs.

So, few days ago I have decided to go out in a ship. Cost of this pleasure is over 15 euro per hour for one person. There are a lot of piers in city, especially on Nevsky prospect and in embankments  of Neva river in center of Saint-Petersburg. You could buy tickets on cruise on quays or to reserve it by telephone. There are various routes and excursions , you should just know in advance what do you want:

-Routes through the canals of Saint-Petersburg

-Routes through Neva River and its tributaries (historical center of city and towards Oreshek fortress)

-Trip to Petergof, Kronstadt, Strelna

- Routes through Neva River with exit to Finskiy gulf

#NEW HOLLAND IN RUSSIA

Hey-hey! Today I would like to tell you about interesting place which you guys should visit if you are in Saint-Petersburg in summer, as only on this season you could hang out in “New Holland”.

Historical information:

First of all, I would like to mention that “New Holland” is an island and is one of the unique monuments of early classicism architecture of my city. Peter the Great invited Dutch shipbuilders to work on dockyard and as “Holland” was called another place primordially where were depots of shipbuilding timber; however depots were moved to new handmade island and the place started to call as “New Holland”.

Nowadays cultural and social programs are passed there beginning from meditation lessons, cooking master classes, lectures and ending with the concerts of modern groups, theatre staging and exhibitions.

#SUSHKA/JOHN LENNON STREET AND MORE

Hello guys! Amazing event which is called “Sushka” (Drying) has been passed on John Lennon Street and I have been there second time. Firstly I would like to describe the place… to search this hippy street you should reach Pushkinskaya Street,10  and turn to the yard as the whole things are inside and are hidden from outsiders. John Lennon Street, various studios and galleries are united in one art center,which is orientated towards modern noncommercial art.
